Stella Artois ATP Perfect Serve: Vote now for June's highlight from the line

Fritz, Moutet, Mpetshi Perricard have been nominated

The serve has long been a particularly key element in grass-court tennis, and the ATP Tour’s finest provided plenty of evidence to back up that theory in June.

The nominee list for the third edition of ATP Perfect Serve, brought to you by Stella Artois, features two players renowned for their ability to use their powerful delivery to great effect on grass, as well as a crafty 'underarm serve specialist'.

Taylor Fritz is the first big-serving nominee this month. The American did not lose any of his 43 service games en route to lifting the trophy at the BOSS OPEN in Stuttgart, where he also fired 45 aces during his title run.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard’s serve also made a mark on the lawns of the Stuttgart ATP 250. The 6’8” Frenchman sent down six aces in a single tie-break during his opening win against Roman Safiullin.

Success on grass isn’t all about raw power, however, as demonstrated by Corentin Moutet at the Mallorca Championships presented by ecotrans Group. The Frenchman sliced and diced a string of underarm serves in his second-round triumph against Daniel Altmaier. Moutet went on to reach the final at the Spanish ATP 250.
