2024/25 AWARDS: Adams named 2024/25 Jack Stamps Player of the Season

Ebou Adams has been named as Derby County’s Jack Stamps Player of the Season for the 2024/25 campaign.

Adams was presented with the award at the club’s End of Season Dinner – sponsored by McAndrew Utilities and Civil Engineering – at Pride Park Stadium on Tuesday night.

Supporters voted online to select their winner, with the midfielder adding the Jack Stamps Trophy to the Supporters’ Club award that he picked up last week.

The Derby County Men’s First Team, Women’s First Team, Academy and Community Trust were all represented at the event, which reflects on the campaign across the whole club.

Award Winners

Ebou Adams’ outstanding displays in midfield saw him voted as Jack Stamps Player of the Season in his first full campaign at Pride Park.

The 29-year-old has featured in all-but-two Sky Bet Championship games so far this season, scoring six goals, recording one assist and leading the league for tackles won with 150.

Adams’ influential campaign also saw him voted as Men’sPlayers’ Player of the Season by the Men’s First Team squad.

Liam Thompson’s emergence as a key player under John Eustace earned him the Sammy Crooks Young Player of the Season award.

The Academy graduate has been an energetic presence and a regular in midfield alongside Adams and Harrison Armstrong in the latter stages of 2024/25.

Jerry Yates’ stunning bicycle kick against Plymouth Argyle in November was selected as Men’s Goal of the Season by the supporters, while the on-loan striker’s 10 goals in all competitions so far also earned him the Men's Highest Goalscorer award.

The Men’sSave of the Season award went to Josh Vickers, for his outstanding stop from Tom Fellows in first half of the Rams’ 3-1 win over West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.

Camille Jenkins and Sarah Jackson shared the Women’s Player of the Season award after receiving an equal number of votes from their teammates and staff.

Chenè Muir's impressive performances secured the Women’s Young Player of the Season award.

At Academy level, Luke Banks picked up the Scholar of the Season award.

Tom Marriott was named as Academy Player of the Season.

The Brian Clough Award – presented to an off-field member of staff in recognition of outstanding service and contribution to the club –went to Head of Football Administration Clare Morris.
