Football season ticket holders will have a chance to renew their season tickets at Saturday's practice.The SLU Alumni Association will celebrate Family Day at Super Lion Saturday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the grassy area adjacent to the Dugas Center for Southeastern Athletics. Local band Open Range will provide musical entertainment, while the event will feature an Easter egg hunt on the football field, food trucks, yard games and a bounce house. Northshore Broadcasting will also provide a live remote from the event.The Southeastern baseball team (22-6, 9-3 SLC) will open the week with a 6 p.m. nonconference contest at South Alabama. The Lions will then welcome UIW for a three-game Southland Conference series at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field. The series opens Friday at 6 p.m., continues Saturday at 6 p.m. and concludes Sunday at 1 p.m.Friday is Youth Sports Night and any young Lion fans (8grade or younger) can receive free admission by wearing their team's jersey and can stand with their favorite Lion on the field for the national anthem. For every weekend at the Pat, fans will have the opportunity to win prizes by playing Baseball Bingo on Saturdays, while all military personnel will receive free admission with a valid military ID on Sundays.The SLU softball team (29-8, 11-1 SLC) closes out its nonconference regular season road schedule Tuesday with a 4 p.m. doubleheader at Northwestern State. The reigning Southland Conference Tournament champion Lady Lions will then host McNeese, the winner of the last three conference regular season titles, in a three-game series, sponsored by North Oaks Health System.The series between the top two teams in the SLC standings starts with a 4 p.m. doubleheader Friday at North Oak Park. Friday is Youth Travel Ball Night and young Southeastern fans can wear their team jerseys and run the bases following the twin bill. The series wraps with a noon contest Saturday.The Lion tennis team (10-5, 2-3 SLC) returns home to host New Orleans for a 5 p.m. SLC match Thursday at the Southeastern Tennis Complex. Sunday will see SLU close out nonconference play with an 11 a.m. doubleheader versus Mississippi Valley State in Jackson, Mississippi.The Southeastern beach volleyball team (6-14, 3-5 SLC) will return to action this week. The Beach Lions will be in Hattiesburg, Mississippi Friday for a 4:30 p.m. match at Southern Miss.The SLU track and field teams will continue their outdoor season this week. The Lions and Lady Lions will head to Baton Rouge to compete in the Pelican Relays, hosted by Southern, Friday and Saturday.A new era of Lady Lion women's basketball will begin Monday, as Southeastern introduces new head women's basketball coachat 10 a.m. in the Victory Club. Dow, Southeastern First Lady Misty Wainwright and SLU Director of Athletics Jay Artigues will offer comments at the introductory press conference and will have media availability following their statements to the attendees. The event is open to the public.All of this week's baseball and home softball games this week will be on ESPN+.
