Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has reported Galatasaray to FIFA over alleged unpaid wages amounting to N2.8 billion for January and February.

Osimhen completed a permanent €75 million transfer from Napoli in the summer of 2025, signing a contract reportedly worth about €21 million (approximately over N33 billion) per year.

According to Turkish journalist Dogus, the 27-year-old Super Eagles striker has already initiated contact with FIFA regarding the alleged salary delay.

“Osimhen, who has not received his payments from Galatasaray, has complained to FIFA and is considering not playing matches if the problem is not resolved,” Dogus posted on his X handle.

“Football is not an arena for secret games; it is a sport,” he added.

The development has intensified speculation over Osimhen’s future in Istanbul, despite his pivotal role in the club’s campaign this season.

Focus Remains on Juventus Clash

Despite the off-field controversy, Osimhen returned to training ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League showdown against Juventus at the Allianz Stadium.

Galatasaray head into the fixture with a commanding 5–2 advantage from the first leg and are seeking to secure a place in the round of 16.

Despite holding a comfortable aggregate lead, the striker has indicated the team will aim for another win rather than adopt a purely defensive approach.

Osimhen has been central to Galatasaray’s attacking output this season, registering 15 goals and five assists in 23 matches across all competitions, making the reported wage dispute a significant issue for the club’s ambitions.
