Pakistan will face West Indies in the 2nd Test

After a thumping 127-run victory in the first Test, Pakistan will aim to seal a series whitewash against West Indies when the two sides go head-to-head in the second and final Test of the series at the Multan Cricket Ground on Saturday (January 25).

It is the last match of the 2023-25 World Test Championship (WTC) cycle for both teams, who are set to occupy the last two places in the table. A victory for West Indies will mean Pakistan take the wooden spoon. A victory in the second Test can ensure they overtake Bangladesh and finish 7th in the table.

Pakistan announced their playing XI on the eve of the match with Khalif Ali to replace Khurram Shehzad. The 30-year-old will make his debut for Pakistan and be the team's lone pacer in the line-up. In the first test, Shehzad bowled just one over across both innings.
