Neymar Clears the Air About His Physical Condition

The physical condition of Neymar has once again become a major topic of discussion in Brazil after the striker did not feature in Santos’ match against Mirassol. His absence sparked widespread speculation among fans and media, prompting the player to publicly clarify the situation.

The Brazilian forward explained that the decision to rest him was taken jointly with the technical staff at Santos after a preparation period that focused heavily on physical conditioning. Although Neymar had resumed full training sessions over the weekend, the club opted not to risk him in the match from the fifth round of the competition.

Officials at Santos reiterated that the player is not injured and that the decision to rest him had been planned days earlier.
