Head to head: Alex Eala vs Iga Swiatek

Filipina tennis ace Alex Eala will face world no. 2 Iga Swiatek once again, this time in the Madrid Open.

Eala, WTA no. 72, will face five-time Grand Slam champion Swiatek in the tournament's Round of 64 on Thursday night.

The two players faced off just weeks ago in the Miami Open where Eala pulled off an upset against Swiatek in the quarterfinals of the said tourney.

Eala already won a match in Madrid as she opened her campaign with a 6-3, 6-2 victory against Bulgaria's Viktoriya Tomova. Swiatek, meanwhile, earned a bye in the Round of 128 and will officially make her debut in the Round of 64.
