On paper, the Week 2 slate features just one game between ranked opponents after an absolutely loaded Week 1. But you can never count out an unexpected upset or three in a weekend like this.

The intrigue started early on Saturday as Iowa State beat Iowa in the CyHawk rivalry game with a late field goal and Arch Manning showed out in a get-right game against San Jose State with a five-touchdown performance. Elsewhere, No. 11 Illinois scored an impressive road win at Duke and Baylor upset No. 17 SMU in double overtime.

No. 14 Michigan at No. 18 Oklahoma

The only matchup between ranked teams this weekend could have far-reaching postseason effects at the end of the season. Both the Wolverines and Sooners harbor playoff hopes, and it’s especially hard to see Oklahoma making a playoff push with a loss on Saturday given its ridiculously tough SEC schedule.
