India have already won the series after winning the first two games and the third ODI will be the final chance for the team to test benched players before the Champions Trophy. Ace India pacer Jasprit Bumrah was named in the squad for the third ODI, with Harshit Rana making way, Bumrah's status is unclear and there are high odds that the veteran pacer won't play the third ODI.Shubman Gill being rested. Gill has already made a mark in the series, scoring two fifties in the first two games. Harshit Rana is not part of the squad for the third ODI, but he could be retained if Bumrah is not fit to play. Still, it is almost certain that Virat Kohli made a return to the playing XI in the second ODI, with Yashasvi Jaiswal making way. Jaiswal has been picked as a backup opener in Champions Trophy so India might want to get him back in the XI, withbeing rested.
