We’re coming down the home stretch here ladies and gentlemen. Some folks are battling for bye weeks. Others are just fighting for a spot in the tournament. A select few have the honor of being eliminated already and have been assigned the sacred mission of spoiling their opponent’s season. Regardless, we all have our assignments. And winning this week is more important than ever.If you need help with that, at least at tight end for this week, I’m here for you. If you want the season-long rankings for your roster decisions, those can be found at the bottom of the waiver wire article where it says Yin & Yang Tight End. If you want my rankings for every position and every format, those are available to Fantasy Alarm Members here. There’s a lot more than just rankings up there, like all the DFS and betting advice that pays for your membership and then some, but those are in there too.As always, I’ll be available for comments or concerns in the Twitter or Reddit threads, so feel free to weigh in there with your own thoughts - or any questions you have for this week!*Players highlighted in red have injury concerns that we need to monitorWeek 11 Tight End Rankings: Tier 1The Cardinals will be without Marvin Harrison Jr, and they also just put Zay Jones and Simi Fehoko on IR. Trey McBride, in a solid matchup, stands in a tier of his own for this week.Week 11 Tight End Rankings: Tier 2These guys are all rock-solid starts here. The Cowboys seem to find themselves in shootouts with whoever they come across, so Brock Bowers gets the nod. Kittle has looked fine in his return, but his matchups have been tough. The Rams have been good vs. the TE, so it was promising to see him get it done last week with Mac Jones. Gadsden is off the injury report following his scare and back in lineups.Week 11 Tight End Rankings: Tier 3Jake Ferguson worries us a little with CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens both healthy, but the Raiders are a team you can throw all over. Monitor the health of Sam LaPorta as he is a DNP in back-to-back days with this back issue. If you have to start Hunter Henry tonight or LaPorta, I might consider Henry vs. the Jets, but I wouldn’t go down to Mason Taylor.Week 11 Tight End Rankings: Tier 4Travis Kelce has been good, but the Broncos are a terrible TE matchup. Pitts has great route participation and target share (he’s TE4 in receptions), but he hasn’t put it all together. The Panthers are a great matchup, as are his next two after that (possibly three if Julian Love is still out). He’s a buy-low candidate for me. Dallas Goedert has been a bit TD dependent, but the Lions run a lot of man-to-man, which can be good for TEs in the red area. Not sure what to make of AJ Brown’s comments and whether we will see more Brown or less Brown. Dalton Schultz has missed 2 practices in a row, and his matchup is also not great, so have another plan.Week 11 Tight End Rankings: Tier 5Only three TEs are top five in both man-to-man targets and endzone targets - Trey McBride, Jake Ferguson, and Mark Andrews. He’s a good TD bet this week. Hunter Henry has been disappointing, but Austin Hooper is out with a concussion, and the Jets matchup is good. Theo Johnson is finally out of his tough schedule and looked good last week, but the QB change is a curveball. Cade Otton has been solid, but the Bills are easily the worst TE matchup there is. They are #1 in fewest targets, receptions, yards, and TDs allowed to the TE.Week 11 Tight End Rankings: Tier 6We wish we could trust Harold Fannin, but Njoku is still there - he stole the TD last week. Same issues for Colston Loveland in this tier in a crowded offense. Zach Ertz is a viable spot start again vs. Miami, though not super exciting due to virtually no YAC upside. Luke Musgrave quietly got good deployment last week, so we are willing to use him in a decent matchup here. Pats have been weak vs. TE, and the Jets don’t have much else besides Taylor.Week 11 Tight End Rankings: Tier 7We actually quietly like Greg Dulcich this week, given his 74% route participation last week. Everyone else is tough to trust in this range. Folks want to start a Steelers tight end against the Bengals, but that guessing game of which one is harder from week to week than you would think. Jonnu Smith leads in routes run most weeks. Muth had the good game vs. them last time, but Rodgers likes throwing an endzone target at Darnell Washington here or there.Week 11 Tight End Rankings: Tier 8
