FUFA Big League 2025/2026 (Match day 16):Sunday, 22nd February 2026 ResultsWakiso Giants 1-0 Kiyinda BoysKigezi Home Boyz 1-1 Kaaro KarungiNtugasaze 4-1 Nebbi CentralKataka 2-0 Bunyaruguru UnitedIganga United 2-1 OnduparakaYoung Elephant s 1-0 Blacks PowerPaidha Black Angels 1-0 Mbale HeroesSaturday, 21st February 2026 ResultCATDA 0-1 Soltilo Bright StarsFormer top flight entity Wakiso Giants recorded their 5th victory of the 2025-2026 season in the FUFA Big League with a slim 1-0 home win over Kiyinda Boys at Hamz stadium on Sunday evening.Davis Kakande Ssekitto was the hero with the solitary strike at the onset of play for the second stanza during a match officiated by referee Isaac Ochan.After a promising and threatening start by the visitors (Kiyinda Boys) who are coached by Emmy Kisakye, it is Wakiso Giants that took the lead against the run of play as the second half kicked off.This was just the fifth victory for Wakiso Giants which takes them to 19 points from 16 matches, 10th on the 16 team log.Kiyinda Boys suffered their 8th defeat in the season, remaining on 18 points, same as Nebbi Central who suffered a humiliating 1-4 loss to Ntugasaze at the Kira Road Police Arena.Abdallah Kawanguzi, James Jarieko, Godfrey Kakooza and Brian Omirambe scored for Ntugasaze who closed down the gap to one point from leaders Blacks Power (29 points).Blacks Power lost 0-1 away to Young Elephants Academy in Nwoya district.Other results:Kigezi Home Boyz Football Club and Kaaro Karungi played to a 1-all draw with Kaaro Karungi at the Kyamate playground in Ntungamo.Allan Egaku gave the visitors the lead before Kaaro Karungi found the equalizer with three minutes to play.At the Mbale City stadium, Kataka smiled 2-0 over Bunyaruguru United with Nansur Nandala on target.Iganga United edged Onduparaka 2-1 at the Ssaza grounds and Paidha Black Angels edged visiting Mbale Heroes 1-0 in Zombo.Earlier on Saturday, Soltilo Bright Stars Football Club edged CATDA 1-0 at the Bugolobi Coffee playgrounds.Goalkeeper Ashiraf Sozzi scored an own goal to give Soltilo Bright Stars maximum points.Four clubs will be promoted to the Star Times Uganda Premier League for the forth coming 2026/2027 season.In the same vein, four clubs shall be demoted to the respective regional leagues.
