In a rare and slightly awkward moment on the final day of the fourth Test at Old Trafford, England captain Ben Stokes extended a handshake to signal a mutual agreement to draw the match on Sunday.But to his visible surprise, the Indian batters, Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar, declined.With India at 386/4 after 138 overs, and leading by 75 runs, the match was meandering toward an inevitable draw.England’s bowlers were visibly fatigued.
