(February 24, 2026) – UNCW senior Lukas Steffen was chosen as the CAA Men’s Tennis Player of the Week, while CAA Women’s Tennis Player of the Week honors went to Towson junior Ashira Murray. William & Mary’s Oliver Hague and Gur Trakhtenberg were selected as the CAA Men’s Doubles Team of the Week and Drexel’s Adva Dabah and Lorie Lemongo received CAA Women’s Doubles Team of the Week accolades.CAA Men’s Tennis Player of the WeekLukas Steffen, Sr., UNCW (Cary, N.C.)Steffen posted a 3-0 record at No. 1 singles, including a win over a nationally ranked opponent, in UNCW’s matches against Coastal Carolina, North Florida and #8 UCF. The senior opened the week by beating Coastal’s Christopher Norlin, 6-3, 6-2, in a 5-2 team victory. In a narrow 4-3 setback to UNF, he rolled past Andreas Scott, 6-3, 6-2. Steffen capped his week by defeating 116th-ranked Yassine Dlimi of UCF, 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 to improve to 4-0 since moving up to the No. 1 singles spot.CAA Women’s Tennis Player of the WeekAshira Murray, Jr., Towson (Birkenhead, England)Murray improved to 7-0 in singles this spring with victories in matches against Georgetown and Navy. Competing at No. 4 singles, the junior battled past GU’s Ashley Kennedy, 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-7) to help the Tigers earn a 4-2 team win. She followed by edging Navy’s Jina Cha, 3-6, 7-6 (4), 1-0 (11-9) by capturing the final five points of the match.CAA Men’s Tennis Doubles Team of the WeekOliver Hague, Jr., William & Mary (Manchester, England)Gur Trakhtenberg, So., William & Mary (Raanana, Israel)Hague and Trakhtenberg went 2-0 at No. 1 doubles to help William & Mary earn team wins over Navy (7-0) and Brown (4-2). The Tribe tandem clinched the doubles point against Navy with a 6-4 triumph over Aniketh Ayinala and Tommy Kim. They also secured the doubles point versus Brown by topping Zander Bravo and Ivan Soldan, 6-3. Hague and Trakhtenberg were also a combined 3-0 in singles in the two matches.CAA Women’s Tennis Doubles Team of the WeekAdva Dabah, Sr., Drexel (Mazliah, Israel)Lorie Lemongo, Gr., Drexel (Yaounde, Cameroon)Dabah and Lemongo helped Drexel extend its winning streak to four by beating Delaware State, 5-2. Playing at the No. 1 doubles spot, the Dragons duo downed DSU’s Lucia Casas Blas and Catherine Goldman, 6-3.
