Weekend could seal titles for European giants, see who can win

European football is entering its final stretch and promises plenty of excitement in the coming days.

By this Sunday (3), four leagues on the Old Continent could have their champions mathematically decided.

After strong campaigns, Barcelona, Internazionale, Galatasaray, and Porto already have “one hand on the trophy.”

🇪🇸 La Liga

Barça have the chance to win La Liga for the 29th time, but the celebration will not depend solely on them this weekend.

Led on the pitch by Pedri, with Lamine Yamal out for the season and Raphinha still recovering from injury, the Catalan side visit Osasuna this Saturday (2).

To be crowned champions now, Barcelona must win their match and hope Real Madrid slip up on Sunday (3), needing their rivals to do no more than draw against Espanyol.

A Catalan victory is essential in this scenario because the Madrid side hold the advantage in the head-to-head record.

So if the teams finish the competition level on points, the trophy stays in Madrid.

🇮🇹 Serie A

With four rounds left in Serie A, Inter Milan sit top of the table with 79 points (10 ahead of Napoli and 12 clear of Milan) and have everything in their favor.

The team hosts Parma on Sunday (3) at 15:45, and a simple win will secure the title regardless of other results.

The nerazzurri, however, could take the field already as champions.

That will happen if Napoli lose to Como on Saturday and Milan fail to beat Sassuolo on Sunday morning.

If Napoli only draw their match, Inter will need a draw against Parma; if Milan win, Internazionale will need at least one point to celebrate the scudetto.

🇹🇷 Süper Lig

Galatasaray’s recent dominance in the Turkish league could be reaffirmed this Saturday (2).

With three rounds left in the tournament, the club lead with 74 points, seven more than arch-rivals Fenerbahçe (67).

The team of Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Sara visits Samsunspor (7th place) at 14:00.

A win guarantees a fourth straight title.

Even if they draw or lose, Galatasaray will still lift the trophy if Fenerbahçe, who play Başakşehir at the same time, also fail to win.

🇵🇹 Liga Portugal

Without winning the trophy since the 2021/22 season, Porto head into the final three rounds of the Portuguese league with a comfortable seven-point lead over Benfica.

The team of Brazilian William Gomes faces Alverca this Saturday (2) at 16:30.

The situation is so favorable that the Dragons could take the field with the title already secured.

All they need is for Benfica to lose their clash with Famalicão, which takes place a little earlier, at 14:00.

If the Eagles draw, Porto will only need to avoid defeat against Alverca to return to the top of Portugal.
