Football club dementia charity gets more fundingWolves forward Jorgen Strand Larsen switches football for cricket at one of the foundation's eventsA Premier League football club charity supporting people with dementia has received funding to expand their work.Wolverhampton Wanderers' Wolves Foundation was given the undisclosed sum from the Premier League and Professional Footballers' Association to continue the Molineux Memories project.A new respite group for people caring for a loved one with dementia will now be set up thanks to funding.Emily Boyle from the foundation said the project has become an "important support network both for people with dementia and their carers to come together and enjoy a cup of tea and a chat".
