Netherlands vs England at UEFA Women's EURO 2025: Head-to-head record, schedule ahead of Group D showdown

England and the Netherlands will meet for their second-round Group D game of the UEFA Women's EURO 2025 on Wednesday, 9 July, with plenty to play for.

Title holders England will approach the game against the Netherlands as a "must-win" after falling 2-1 to France in their opening game of the women's football tournament.

Should they lose against the Dutch and France take a least a point against Wales in the other Group D fixture, they will exit the competition and rescind their crown. A draw would see 'The Lionesses' avoid imminent elimination, but likely place their fate in the hands of France and the result of other third-round group fixtures.

For the 2017 champions, a win against England and a French victory over Wales would see them advance to the tournament quarter-finals.
